Physiopedia .

LATS – Thoracodorsal nerve (C6 – C8)[4] from the posterior cord of the brachial plexus, which enters the muscle on its deep surface.[2] The skin covering the latissimus dorsi muscle is supplied by roots T4 to T12, inclusive by both ventral and dorsal rami, as well as the dorsal rami of L1 to L3.

TERES MAJOR – Lower subscapular nerve

TRAPS – Spinal root of accessory nerve (CN XI) (motor); Cervical nerves (C3 and C4) (pain and proprioception)

RHOMBOIDS – Dorsal Scapular Nerve (C5); Occasionally with additional contribution from the C4 Nerve Root.

LEVATOR SCAPULAE – Cervical nerve (C3-C4) and dorsal scapular nerve (C5)
